Tom Brady Cuts An Interview Short When Pressed About His Trainer

The Patriots QB avoids questions about Alex Guerrero

August 27, 2018

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady just doesn't want to talk about his trainer.

Brady abruptly ended a weekly radio interview on one of our sister stations this morning, after questions about his personal trainer were deemed "out-of-bounds" by the 41-year-old signal caller.

Last week, Brady's guy Alex Guerrero attended the team's preseason game with the team, reportedly flying on the team plane. Guerrero has become a bit of an issue between Brady and the Patriots and fans in recent years. It's unclear where the trainer watched the game from, but being included on the team plane is a certainly a change from last season when he was not allowed to fly with the team.

Brady was asked about Guerrero during an interview with Boston's WEEI, and confirmed that it did in fact happen. The quarterback was then asked to elaborate, but the follow-up questions ultimately led to him hanging up and ending the interview.

Of course, this isn't the first time Brady has gotten flustered about Guerrero-questions. The quarterback ended a media session with reporters at Gillette Stadium earlier this summer after a question about Guerrero and Julian Edelman's four game suspension.
