An *NSync Reunion (of Some Kind) is Definitely Happening This Year

*NSync went on hiatus in 2002, but the band hasn’t made new music since then. So we’re pretty sure that they “broke up.” After all, with Justin’s incredible solo career, we’re not surprised that they didn’t continue working as a band.

Sure we have seen the guys together on occasion, and the band did briefly appear on stage together for the 2013 MTV VMAs. But we’ve always wanted something more, right? The Backstreet Boys are fulfilling our dreams by reuniting in Vegas this year, so why can’t *NSync make our dreams come true?

Well, that may be happening, but details are kind of sketchy. We’re hearing that the band could be working on a few projects this year, but we’re not sure what exactly that will entail.

So here’s what we know: the guys from *NSync will get together when the band is given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame later this year. The good news is that it sounds like the whole band will be there as guys are currently working to coordinate their schedules.

OK. So that’s a start, but we want more.

We're hoping that their “reunion” could be larger than just a photo opportunity with their new Hollywood star after based on some comments from Lance Bass this week.

Bass told Entertainment Tonight that the band is “doing something” later this year, but he wasn’t sure if he could announce it yet.

He then proceeded to say “We’re coming out with a really cool vinyl edition of our Christmas album because it’s coming up on the 20 years of that album. And then we’re going to be getting our star on the Walk of Fame this year at some point.”

So is it just a vinyl Christmas album? Or will they hit the stage for a live performance or maybe the studio to give us new music?

Sounds like we’ll have to hold on to our N SYNC Teen Beat wall posters to wait and see what the reunion will entail.
