The Pistol Annies brought their Interstate Gospel to New York City Friday night (Nov. 2) to celebrate the release of their third studio album. Miranda Lambert, Ashley Monroe, and Angaleena Presley hit the stage live from The Town Hall in Manhattan to sing about sin, men, and everything in between.

As the ladies put it, they had planned to "set a real bad example for y'all." The evening was filled with true country music all while the Pistol Annies performed both new and previously released material from Hell On Heels, Annie Up, and of course Interstate Gospel.

The country trio had lived a lot of life over the last 5 years and decided it was time to get back in the studio to record their new tunes. Whether Lone Star, Hippie, or Holler Annie were singing about the woman they had been or want to be ("Cheyenne"), or about "Commissary," their set was a "Masterpiece."

"We all appreciate y'all understanding us telling the truth. We're just trying to tell everyone's stories whether they're ugly or not," Lambert said.

The Pistol Annies' lead single of the project, "Got My Name Changed Back," got just about everyone in the venue out of their seats while singing the lyrics loud and proud. Each of the ladies have been very vocal about quite literally getting their name changed back within their new 12-track collection.

Presley was singing for two during her one-night-only appearance in the Big Apple and had realized her baby bump had grown since their last performance. She also called out her husband for not wishing them a happy album release day and went on to sing a new track, "Unhappily Married."

Interstate Gospel is relatable, honest, and probably one of the most countrified albums to be released in 2018. While you take a listen, always remember, "if you can't stand the heat, turn the prayer-conditioner up" because the Pistol Annies will always be there by your side.

The Pistol Annies will perform live from Nashville at the 2018 CMA Awards Nov. 14.
