How to Watch Giants vs. Texans Online

September 21, 2018

Someone must win! Coming into the season, many observers felt the Giants and Texans would each be much improved this season. That is not the case so far. Both teams enter this game 0-2 with offenses that have looked awful. One of them will likely escape Week 3 in the win column, while the other drops to an 0-3 start. Well, that’s unless we get a tie in three straight weeks to open the NFL season... which would be quite bizarre.

The Giants offensive line has been an absolute trainwreck. At this rate, Eli Manning won’t make it out of this season standing upright. It’s way too early to put blame on Pat Shurmur, but if the offense is stagnant once again this week, the Giants are going to need to find better blockers up front. The Cowboys dominated the Giants, allowing Manning with no time to throw, and Saquon Barkley no holes to run through. The Giants have the playmakers but have failed to make much use of them in 20-15 and 20-13 losses the first two weeks. It might not get much easier for them going up against J.J. Watt in Houston Sunday.

Deshaun Watson has not looked like the same QB that was an NFL MVP candidate before tearing his ACL last season. Watson is just 39-for-66 for 486 yards, three TDs, two INTs, and three fumbles through their first two losses. He’ll need to avoid turning the ball over as he has for the Texans to get in their first win. They also need Watt to dominate the weak Giants o-line with Jadeveon Clowney out this week with a back injury. With how good the Jaguars have been so far, the Texans just can’t afford to pile up losses or they will have no shot at winning the AFC South this year.
